SakeenaTime ("we", "us", or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use the SakeenaTime mobile application ("App").

Information We Collect

SakeenaTime collects only the minimum information necessary to provide its core features:

• Location Data: The App requests access to your device's GPS location solely to calculate accurate Islamic prayer times and Qibla direction for your area. Your location is processed locally on your device and is never stored, shared, or transmitted to any server.

We do not collect:

• Your name, email address, or any personal identifiers
• Usage analytics or behavioral data
• Advertising identifiers
• Contacts, photos, or any other device data

How We Use Your Information

• To calculate and display accurate prayer times based on your current location
• To determine the Qibla direction (toward Mecca) from your location
• To send local Adhan (prayer call) notifications at the correct prayer times

All processing happens entirely on your device. No data leaves your phone.

Notifications

SakeenaTime may request permission to send local notifications to alert you at prayer times. These are scheduled locally on your device — no data is sent to any server. You can disable notifications at any time in your device Settings.

Third-Party Services

SakeenaTime does not use any third-party analytics, advertising networks, or data brokers. The App does not integrate with any external services that collect personal data.

Data Retention

Since we do not collect or store any personal data, there is nothing to retain or delete. Your preferences (language, calculation method, etc.) are stored locally on your device using Apple's standard storage (UserDefaults / AppStorage) and can be cleared by uninstalling the App.

Children's Privacy

SakeenaTime does not knowingly collect any information from children under the age of 13. The App is safe for use by all ages as it collects no personal data.
